Stratum is a series of handwoven tapestries created from textile waste, carefully selected, processed, and transformed into new yarn. Through this material practice, the works explore how time, use, desire, and disposal accumulate in cloth, revealing parallels with the layering of landscapes and geological strata. The tapestries maintain an intimate tactile presence, offering a quiet meditation on transformation, material memory, and the traces of human engagement embedded in the fibres themselves.
